What Is CommShare?

Community Share is a South Australia–based initiative supporting schools to run student-led lunchtime programs that build connection, inclusion, wellbeing and leadership — using existing school spaces, trained student leaders and light-touch adult mentoring.

We work alongside schools and education settings, rather than adding pressure to them.

Our role is to equip, train and support young people to create welcoming spaces where students feel they belong and can step into leadership in age-appropriate ways.

Our activities include:

✓ creative stations

✓ sports and games

✓ storytelling

✓ talent shows

✓ homework help

✓ theme weeks

In schools, our activities are supervised by school staff and supported by a CommShare Mentor.

Our program is positive, safe, simple, and designed to help every student feel included.
